Communist Escape To Be Demo-ed During Gamescom 2016

Communist Escape To Be Demo-ed During Gamescom 2016Sand Sailor Studio, the indie studio behind Black The Fall, will exhibit the latest playable demo next week, during Gamescom 2016. Attendees will get a flavour of escaping the communist oppressive system, within the Indie Arena booth (Hall 10.1, Booth A-020, B-021), the Square Enix Collective booth (Hall 9, Booth B31-41) and the RGDA Indies booth (Hall 10.1, Booth C-030).

Black The Fall is the story of a regular worker who grows to be fed up with the system; the selfish anti-hero who just seeks to escape the oppression. Playing as Black, the player gets the chance to pursue freedom through control. While the game displays elements of both stealth and puzzle solving, the main game feature is manipulation. Early in the game, Black gains the ability to control both machinery and other people through a stolen laser pointer, named The Designator. “Communism was very much about fear and manipulation. We wanted to give Black a chance to use the same weapon against The System. This is why we have created The Designator. “ says Cristian Diaconescu, Creative Director at Sand Sailor Studio.

With a Beta version ready, Sand Sailor Studio has a world tour agenda for 2016, trying to bring Black The Fall in front of as many puzzle-solvers as possible. After being showcased this year at EGX Rezzed, Unite Europe, E3, BIG Festival, Comic Con and Radius Festival, now it’s coming back to Gamescom 2016.
