Spilt Milk Studios Announces Lazarus, where thousands of players survive together in a huge persistent real time world

Spilt Milk Studios Announces Lazarus, where thousands of players survive together in a huge persistent real time worldSpilt Milk Studios today announces Lazarus, a top-down action-oriented sci fi twist on Groundhog Day where thousands of players survive together in a huge persistent real time world, where dogfights, foraging for resources, and exploring exciting new tech combine into a tumultuous ‘MMO Roguelike’ that turns back in on itself every week like some kind of ultra-futuristic Ouroboros.

Andrew J Smith, Design Director at Spilt Milk Studios said:

“Lazarus, which is is free to play, is launching later this year on PC in Steam Early Access. More excitingly, we’re having our first closed Beta test on the 12th August, and anyone who wants to can sign up for that at www.playlazarus.com . Lazarus is being self-published by us here at Spilt Milk Studios which is a first for us and means we’re in control of everything - a lovely feeling for a little studio like ours.
“We’re incredibly excited about the scope and scale of what we’re trying to do here - it takes 37 minutes to get from one corner of the world to the other, and the game area is 160,000 km2, which is bigger than North Korea. There will be at least 1000 players in the game, in one server, at a time. So we can’t wait to have players jump into the Beta and start having fun with us soon!”
