See Livestream of Tyranny Gameplay for the First Time

PC GamesParadox Interactive and Obsidian Entertainment today published a new developer diary for Tyranny, the upcoming role-playing game (RPG) from the studio behind award-winning titles such as Pillars of Eternity. The diary provides details on one of the many companions who can join the player’s party in the game, outlining the character’s past as well as new glimpses of the world of Tyranny, a world ruled by the dictatorial overlord, Kyros. Obsidian and Paradox are also preparing to show details from Tyranny in their first-ever live stream of the game, scheduled for Thursday, July 14 at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The game will be demonstrated live by members of the game’s design and development teams, offering players a personal preview of what awaits them in the Tiers.

Tyranny will be streamed on Twitch at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time (9:00 p.m. CEST) on the Paradox Interactive channel, found at https://www.twitch.tv/paradoxinteractive .

In the latest developer diary released by Obsidian and Paradox, players will meet Barik, the first of the Fatebinder’s companions to be revealed from Tyranny. Barik is a loyal soldier of the Disfavored, one of Kyros’ powerful armies. The diary sheds light on why his loyalty to the Overlord is absolute – and how he came to be completely encased in a suit of fused weapons. The diary is available to read here: https://blog.tyrannygame.com/2016/07/13/dev-diary-6-barik/

In Tyranny, the grand war between good and evil is over – and the forces of evil, led by Kyros the Overlord, have won. The Overlord’s merciless armies dominate the face of the world, and its denizens must find their new roles within the war-torn realm. Players’ decisions will have far-reaching consequences and change both the land and its people, providing a non-linear, highly replayable experience. Tyranny is scheduled to arrive for Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs in 2016.
